Free Speech Dieing! Help!

So for awhile now I've been following this lawsuit against Sott.net by HBI & Eric Pepin. It's pretty pathetic, this guy an obvious snake oil salesman, potential psychopath, and total front for CoIntelPro is suing my favorite alternative news website over this thread, because people decided to talk about the trial in which he was charged with having a threesome with a seventeen year old boy... and video taping it. A 'mystical' process he referred to as 'crossing the abyss'. There's been a bunch of articles popping up about it, the most recent a really good summary: Sneak attack on Internet Freedom of Speech.

The case is pretty facetious... I don't know how Sott can lose, but the prospect is scary. That's actually not the main push of my post... what get's me is that Sott isn't the only website getting sued. We also have alterinfo.net under attack by some crazy ADL-esque militant organizations in France. Please don't go off thinking it doesn't affect you because you don't live there, that'd be some serious hubris. AlterInfo is a pretty huge alternative site, and it also has an english component that gets read daily by English-speakers everywhere. OpEd News has also reportedly refused to carry the above article because of it's 'antisemitic' slant, which demonstrates how anything critical of Israel, or Zionism has become antisemitic regardless of whether or not the content is racist.

Okay, okay no big deal right? Two pretty major alternative news sites are under attack for speaking freely, pointing out obvious corruption or dangers - Hell, you never even heard of em until I started rambling about them here, right?

Perhaps you don't live in England or Wales, so you think this has nothing to do with you. You're wrong. English libel law now applies to everyone on earth. Make any accusation, anywhere in the world, and if the subject can demonstrate that a single person in England or Wales has read it, you could be sued here for every penny, cent, rouble, rupee or renmimbi you possess. The internet and the global nature of publishing ensure that these mediaevel laws have become the most powerful extra-territorial legislation ever drafted.

Do you see now where this is heading? Websites, publishers, lawsuits - Oh My! What if you were wronged by a company, say their product was faulty, well if you decided to talk about it on the interweb - you could be sued! Or if you did an investigative expose` on how George Bush's Grand Daddy was involved in funding the Nazi's just before WWII... or how he was also involved in the fascist plot to overthrow FDR - Another Lawsuit! For what? Speaking Truth - and this the world we've come to reside in.

When speaking the truth is a crime it is evident that those most high are liars, that they survive by lies. It's also how they kill, and continue to kill, because people believe their lies. To them we're nothing more then livestock, a commodity to be sold, traded or used at will. Psychopaths rule our world, and it's likely been that way for a long time. These pathological individuals are physiologically incapable of separating truth from a lie. To them, reality is declared by fiat so they lie while believing themselves to be telling the truth.

Thus the best liars are in effect, psychologically deviant. I prefer the term 'conscienceless monsters' myself.

Conscienceless monsters are using the legal systems, in various countries around the world to squash our Freedom to Speak Truth - what are you doing about it?
